Timothy J. Buckley III

Upon graduation from law school, Tim accepted a federal clerkship with The Honorable Wilbur D. Owens, Jr., Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. After completing his clerkship, Tim worked with two litigation firms in Atlanta. He is AV rated as a trial attorney and has argued appellate matters before the appellate courts of the State of Georgia and other states and before the appellate courts of the Second, Eleventh and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal for the United States. Tim has written several articles in the litigation area and has served as a featured speaker for the Georgia Product Liability Institute. A federal court panel arbitrator and practitioner, Tim has handled several complex arbitrations in the federal and state systems. Tim also serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia and has taught litigation courses at the Emory University School of Law for over ten years. Tim has been recently named a “Super Lawyer” and designated as among the “Top Georgia Lawyers.”
