Nick currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Tax Council, and is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. In 2007 and 2008, Nicholas co-authored the Minnesota Shopping Center Association's Retail Real Estate Report. Appeals Lawyers: A challenge to a previous legal determination. An appeal is directed towards a legal power higher than the power making the challenged determination. In most states and the federal system, trial court determinations can be appealed in appeals courts, and appeals court decisions can be appealed in a supreme court.
