Maxine Dalton Kennedy

Ms. Maxine Dalton Kennedy was born in British Columbia, Canada. After growing up in Costa Rica, Southern California, and Idaho, she graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC with a B.S. in Office Administration. She worked in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Fayetteville, NC, before entering law school at Wake Forest University, earning her J.D. in 1980. Upon admission to the North Carolina State Bar, she spent 3 years as an Assistant District Attorney in Guilford County, trying traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases in district and superior courts in High Point and Greensboro.

She left the courtroom to work in the Trust Dept at Wachovia Bank in High Point. In 1985, she began the private practice of law in High Point, focusing on wills, estates, guardianships, and related matters. Except for 3 years (2007-2010) in the Trust Dept of Newbridge Bank, she has remained in private practice since 1985.
